Tabdial Purchase Terms
Last updated: October 8, 2026
In short: one payment of US$9, no subscription. It unlocks 90 daily backup copies, a daily backup to your own Google Drive, and Sort, which suggests a better group for your dials. Everything that was free stays free. Not happy? Email us within 30 days and you get all your money back, no questions asked.
These terms cover the optional paid unlock for the Tabdial browser extension (“Tabdial”), made by NEXUSCORTEX LLC (“we”). The unlock is sold through Link, Stripe's checkout service, which acts as the reseller and merchant of record (your receipt says “Sold through Link”): Stripe processes your payment, handles tax and sends your receipt, under Link's terms.
What you get
- 90 daily copies. Tabdial keeps a copy of your dials before your first change each day. Free, it keeps the last 7; with the unlock, the last 90. Copies older than the newest 7 keep your dials but not their thumbnails.
- Google Drive backup. Once a day, Tabdial saves everything (dials, groups, thumbnails and settings) to one file in your own Google Drive, and you can back up or restore from it with one click. You need a Google account. See the privacy policy for what this involves.
- Sort. For the group you are viewing, Tabdial suggests which of your other groups each dial fits better, and moves the ones you confirm. To do this it sends the site names and titles in that group, and your other groups' names with a few of their site names, through our website to TypeSafe, an AI service; see the privacy policy. Suggestions can be wrong or missing, and nothing moves until you confirm.
The unlock works in Tabdial for Chrome and Microsoft Edge, for as long as you use Tabdial, including future updates of these features.
What stays free
Everything Tabdial offered for free before the unlock existed stays free: unlimited dials and groups, the last 7 daily copies, Chrome sync, Jump, import and export. We will not move a free feature behind the payment.
Price and payment
The price is US$9, paid once. The checkout page shows the final amount, including any sales tax or VAT for where you live, before you pay. Your bank may add a currency conversion fee. You pay on Stripe's checkout page, and we never see your card details.
Using it on your other computers
If Chrome sync is on, the purchase follows you to your other computers automatically. Elsewhere, for example in Edge, open Tabdial's settings, click I already paid and sign in with the Google account you connected Google Drive with, or enter the license key shown on the thank-you page after you pay. One key unlocks up to 10 browsers; email us if you need more, or if you have lost your key.
Refunds
If you are not happy with the unlock for any reason, email support@nexuscortex.dev within 30 days of paying, from or mentioning the email address you paid with, and we will refund the full amount through Stripe. You don't have to give a reason. After a refund, the paid features stop in every browser the purchase unlocked: Tabdial goes back to keeping 7 new copies (the older copies it already kept stay), the daily Drive backup stops, and Sort is no longer available. The backup file already in your Drive stays there. A browser learns about the refund within a day.
This does not limit any rights you have under the consumer law of your country.
Things outside our control
The Drive backup relies on Google Drive, Sort on TypeSafe, and payment on Stripe. If one of them changes or stops working, we will do our best to keep the feature working or offer an alternative. Keep an exported file too if your dials matter a lot to you: backups are there to help, but we can't promise that nothing is ever lost.
